I did it! I did a 100 mpg tank! I'm so happy right now you can't imagine.
This tank was super long, the last time I filled-up was in april! I did 1028 miles on 10.274 gal (US) = 100.06
. I'm lucky! Anyway, FCD said 101.9 mpg so I was pretty confident to get it this time.
This morning I was at 969 miles and I went to my cousin's house at Val-Morin. I took a liter of 94 octane gas with me just in case. Finally I put the liter just before leaving my cousin's house. I filled-up on the way home in Saint-Jérôme. This time I decided to try the 94 octane gas and I can say that I like it so far. And with 4 fillups a year I don't mind of the gas prices.
I did 111.8 mpg average on the trip so now my fresh trip A (tank) is under 2 L/100 km | 117+ mpg.
If I was driving the car more I could have done a 110+ mpg tank because since the beginning of summer my average is under 2 LHK.
