I think the tail looks stretched. As I recall our 96's rear had more taper immediately aft the rear wheels, while this example's rear appears to retain its full width right to the bumper.

That isn't a 96 backlight, and the rear side windows aren't SAAB 9X anything that I can tell. This appears to be a melange of different models from the SAAB lineup, mostly 96, and a couple of oddballs.
