OP, keep the sienna, stop worrying about mpg, and drive the van. If you get 24, you get 24. Your not putting 10-20k miles a year on it are you? If not, who cares? I understand that money is a big deal nowadays but there are some things that are worth spending the money on and simply not worrying about. If the van was getting 8-17mpg then I would comment further but 24 isn't all that bad.
