i rec'd the basalt samples. truly amazing stuff. it is like fiberglass in the way it will imbed in your skin and itch. i will post pics when i get a chance. the rod is really lightweight but very strong. the smallest rod would really strengthen up weak areas without adding much weight, esp if considering fiberglass. as would the cloth.
