Now I just have to figure out aero mods. Probably won't be able to do too many before the tour, but a few for sure. Maybe a coroplast ramp from the windshield to the box,

That's not really that bad, even for a gasser. At least with the good old small-block Chevy you have many options to try, from a different camshaft to a less restrictive exhaust. Regarding aeromods, you may actually want to enclose the sides of that over-head deflector if you're really going to make one. Anyway, you could eventually make it as a kind of roof-mounted trunk
