So happy to see my project cited! (#18)

By the way, our sedan-to-Kammback-converters need to be able to resist several dozen pounds of lateral force from side-winds. I'm adding some lateral webbing to back of the trunk for this purpose in the near future. Heavy magnets with rubber boots located at the back of the trunk are also worth considering for this purpose, but that may not be optimal, considering the amount of force it will take to break the magnets for cargo access. If the structure can't resist the lateral force, it will tear off, probably in motion, which is potentially very hazardous. http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post421286 I drove thousands of miles under a variety of conditions before encountering the gale-force side-winds that it took to cause destruction.

(Also, I now know that the Nd magnet attachment doesn't pass UT state inspection. I'm either heading for special permission, or else moving on to what the inspection manual calls "permanent attachment" (translation: screws).)
