That's what I was thinking as well - sorry to say so.
It's down to the base vehicle I'd guess - those 650cc being overkill.
The Burgman is a BIG & heavy scooter too.
Covering it adds more weight, and makes it quite bulky too - large frontal area, and lots of side area making it more wind-sensitive.
Looking at Allert Jacobs' Honda, he's done a lot of work to cut down on frontal area.
