Yes, there is a fair amount of low hanging fruit left, that car should be capable of over 100mpg, my insight does 70mpg, which means tripod front tires, mirrors and the rearend could use some work. The motor itself is likely oversized for the job but intented to give a good driving experence with an off the shelf solution.
Something else is because the "car" is a motorcycle the same emission standards do not apply, cycles are a little more lax, meaning they might be able to shoehorn in leanburn.
In any event...
I wish they would have been selling these as "gliders" as of last year so they could have some positive cash flow before rampup.
If they were selling gliders I would love to drop a G1 Insight drivetrain in, that in of itself would push the envelope above 88mpg. (if that 88mpg is EPA)
