So that's a kinda pointless move from GM. OK, the lower pick rate for manuals back there would seem to not justify, but it wouldn't be so hard to have its gearing set to enhance the efficiency.

There might have some way to work around an alternative way to control it as a stand-alone unit.
After all, it seems to be more cost-effective to do the mods independently instead of trying to follow strictly the solutions implemented in the Eco.
