I wasn't really eco-modding when I replaced them but I wanted a tire I wasn't going to be replacing in a year so I got Yoko Avid TRZ, I have them running 44psi and they handle really well, traction doesn't appear to be compromised the car can't corner quite as fast as with stock wheels but still does a good job. I have tested breaking hard on dry and wet roads and both have been very quick and reassuring. I would definitely recommend the yoko's to other people replacing the TERRIBLE stock civic tires.

Ps. they are 80k mile tires.
