I used to drive 18 miles to work when I lived in Chicago, and it was usually a fight to get anywhere. It was an hour each way, unless traffic was bad, then it was anybody' s guess. Now, 54 miles one way, no traffic (even during rush hour) and I go almost 3x as far in the same time.

I know the words to almost every song on the radio now no more road rage, more maintenance instead!

I like the relaxed pace without traffic anyway. It's my own little "wind down time" so I don't bring a bad day home to my family
