I had mentioned them before and finally went there. Non-mechanically-inclined (and lazy) people always tell me to take my car to a mechanic, but that has usually been more frustrating for me than working on it myself, just far more expensive. I finally found a mechanic that I like (
Crawfords Auto Repair Mesa 85210, Quality Car Care), but eventually went to
U Fix It Automotive - Do It Yourself, and Do It Right!, and I thought the mechanic was great, there was an obvious difference when talking with an actual mechanic!
He said the most common injury people had at his shop was burning themselves, although the mandatory safety video did not mention that. I joked when he said he would park my car on the lift. He said that when they first opened, a customer said that he had driven onto lifts thousands of times, and then proceeded to drive into the lift.
