I don't know anything about the other cars suggested. But I really, really like the Focus I just got. Nice little car, does what I want it to do and the mileage is just stupid good. Way better than the EPA rating and I'm not even driving it that well. I think there is 40mpg in it with a tire pressure mod and a partial grill block off.
