Although they seem similar, I think there's some sort of formulary differences. When cleaning throttle bodies Gm will tell you to use their top engine clean, and to never use anything containing methyl ethyl ketone. It also makes me curious that acdelco doesn't make a "throttle body cleaner", that I've seen at least, but they have continued to sell "carburetor and choke cleaner"
