Every car issue is different. My car was around 15 or 16 MPG with no missing or any code. In my case after been searching online for an answered and spending money in parts finally I fixed. I have a 2005 SXT w/ SRT-4 body kit that I bougth 2 months ago
1-Throttle cleaner.... till bad.
2- After put brand new Platinum Spark when I bought it I did replace them back for regular NGK and new Spark plus wire...... till bad
3-Air filter changed.....till bad
4-PCV changed.....till bad
5-Tire PSI checked....till bad
6-fuel filter........till bad
I Almost buy a fuel pump. So I Kept looking online. I saw few videos Cleaning a IAC valve with Carburator Cleaner.... YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS from 16 MPG to around 25 MPG. $3 carburator cleaner fixed my car.

Should have used throttle body cleaner.
Carb cleaner may mess up oxygen sensors I think.

Exclamation

Thank you. That's what I though because every chemical has its purpose. But the guy at the Auto part said that won't hurt if I do carefully with the sensor part up only spraying the aluminum area.
Thank you again.

Carb cleaner and throttle body cleaner have the same stuff in them most of the time.
Just don't use the "Chlorinated" stuff.

Although they seem similar, I think there's some sort of formulary differences. When cleaning throttle bodies Gm will tell you to use their top engine clean, and to never use anything containing methyl ethyl ketone. It also makes me curious that acdelco doesn't make a "throttle body cleaner", that I've seen at least, but they have continued to sell "carburetor and choke cleaner"

Thak you. I saw on those video Carb.Cleaner and Intake stuff are made for specific use. Lot people generalize the use of Carb. Cleaner. Normally real mechanics don't believe in mix the use of them. Rather than street people think wont hurt the use of them. By the way in 1 one the videos I saw one guy using break cleaner to clean IAC. Even I am not a mechanic I not crazy to do that. About the "Chlorinate" thank you about this. I will
Keep on mind.
