Don't worry officers, I'm not going to brain you with this window screen!

I was picturing making a 12"x12" screen, hooking it with 4 strings (like a parachute) to a fish scale.
Then have someone drive you 72 MPH while you hang it all out the passenger window..

Then, stick a sheet of paper 12x12 over it for the 'B' test..?.

I think the screen load has to do with the laminar flow over the wire segments increasing in velocity and getting thicker as speed increases.
As the flows get thicker, the laminar flows start interfering with each other..
Resulting in a general surface turbulence that is so dense, that air can only
pass at slower speeds.

My aero novice guess is a very tight screen that is turned at sharp angle to the wind direction will display some lift as surface turbulence acts as a buffer, keeping the fast moving air from contacting the mesh.
Kinda like the golf ball effect.?.
