When it comes to regular cops, telling stories that go no where like Baltothewolf or talking about your fetishes is a good idea. I like to tellem I have a secret clearance, work for area 51 and how the white SUV up the road has me under surveillance. 
Base cops consider talking a sign of guilt and in many cases purposely give you the stare or look and pause checking your id to see what you do. I gave a blind gentleman a ride to work and he ignored the officer at the gate. We got pulled over and questioned further and I explained he cant see. I think the officer took it personally.  |
I make the officer feel awkward so they want to leave.
