Thanks old mech for all your support and help, I really do appreciate it.
I had to put the orileys thermostat back in due to lack of funds. I'll buy an OEM one ASAP. I did test it before I put it in though, and it's fully opening at 212F like it's supposed to.
As for bleeding, it's an extremely aggravating process, and I'm not sure what to do about it. Whenever I try to bleed the system, it simply sucks water from the bleeder tube into the recovery bottle. It will continue this action until the recovery bottle is completely full. Google turned up no results.
