Having a kill switch is the way to go instead of cycling the ignition switch.
Also, a kill switch will allow all of the vehicles systems to remain functional. The other big plus is not having to worry about the steering wheel locking up. A kill switch will also allow your ultragauge to remain booted up.

Just try it. Plan a short route and drive it without EOC and then with EOC.

You'll be impressed...
