I'm having a dilemma...

Does this mean since I'm modeling my Geo Metro after the VW XL1 with it's small diesel engine that now instead, I should abandon that and re-power it with a Suzuki Hayabusa motor...???

Features:
◾Engine: 1340 cc (82 cu in), 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve
◾Top Speed: 248 miles per hour (397 km/h)
◾Power: 197 horsepower (147 kW) @ 6750 rpm 147kW

At least this way I would still be loyal to Suzuki since it manufactures the Geo.

Think about it. One could couple the Hayabusa engine to the existing Geo transmission with a chain drive so that it utilizes both transmissions. That way with a 6-speed and a 5 speed, one would have nearly infinite gear selections modes.

One could label the different modes with names like...

Stump puller - (for the farmer)

Tow - (for the outdoors man)

Normal - (for normal people)

Sport - (for the enthusiast)

Suicide - (for the daredevil)

Economy - (for the penny pincher)

And...

Super economy - (for Mr. Scrooge)

If I were to do this.

I would have to rename it from the Geo XL 1 to the...

Geo XL1 SS. (Super Sport)
