Sick of seeing small cars lose their charm through each generation. Scion xB 2nd gen went from 1.5L 2500lbs to 2.4L 3000lbs! WTF! Mini Coopers are larger. Fits are probably larger. Yaris probably larger etc...
I loved U turns in my Miata, I could U turn and end up in the "fast lane" opposed to hitting the curb in the "slow lane" as a truck would.

Totally agree. A 1L motor with a small turbo, 3.73 gearing and a 5-seater would probably still get 50's, while also having umph when you need it. Of course a 2 seater version for us guys with no kids would be necessary :P.
