2850 miles since purchased.
I had some 10w-30 mobil 1, so I dropped the oil and left the filter. It should be good down to below freezing. I'll change to 5w-30 next time. Hood sticker says both are good, but 5w preferred for colder temps. I have nothing else left to put the 10w in so it's basically a free oil change.
Next one will be a 15k mile filter and mobil 1 5w-30.
Cleaned the distributor cap and rotor tonight, significant buildup of white oxidation on the poles in the cap and the surface of the rotor.
Finally got the headlight adjustments just about perfect.
The dash lights flickered off last night, probably either the brightness potentiometer is dirty (work it a bunch of times) or there is a weak ground connection in the instrument cluster circuit board.
Fighting the urge to buy another car. Saw a 1997 BMW Z3 on CL for $3950.
I need to stop looking at CL
