Next one will be a 15k mile filter and mobil 1 5w-30.
Cleaned the distributor cap and rotor tonight, significant buildup of white oxidation on the poles in the cap and the surface of the rotor.
Finally got the headlight adjustments just about perfect.
The dash lights flickered off last night, probably either the brightness potentiometer is dirty (work it a bunch of times) or there is a weak ground connection in the instrument cluster circuit board.
Fighting the urge to buy another car. Saw a 1997 BMW Z3 on CL for $3950.
I need to stop looking at CL .

Nothing wrong with Craigslist, just be specific on what you want and not impulsive. Sit down and draw out a project and a budget, make it realistic and financially responsible if your do decide to bail on it for something new. It took me four months to find my civic and just by chance one popped up down the street for $1200. The best part about it is searching and finding parts for it on Craigslist as well or sometimes eBay. Still trying to find a factory radio and factory intake for $20 or less.
To me the struggle to find my personal vehicle that met all my conditions gave me the greatest satisfaction out of any vehicle I've owned (I still have my eyes peeled for a non molested civic vx)
You're kinda bouncing around though, even with a Nissan leaf buying a new vehicle is the worst financial decision you can make. The only exception to that is the automotive illiterate, my father refuses to learn how to do anything on a car or learn about them, on a long trip overnight if his alternator fails or battery dies he is literally screwed and out the fee for a tow truck and whatever a random shop decides to charge him
In the mean time enjoy the Nissan. As with nearly all early 90's Japanese cars they were all driven to the ground and hard to find in any sort of reasonable condition.
