What a waste of time the past month has been. I pulled the head, replaced the gasket, put it back on, the oil leak was still there. However, I found out it wasn't coming from the head gasket area. Instead, it was coming from where the camshaft seal was supposed to be. Apparently my head resurfacer guy removed the seal and never replaced it. *sigh* I put a new one in and voila, no oil leak. Yay.

I haven't gotten it fully reassembled yet, but its a good way there. I got it far enough to try and start it up (wasn't going to reassemble everything if there were still any leaks), it fires up every time but it doesn't say running. Not sure what is going on quite yet.
