This is the most plausible one i've seen. I say that because it doesn't stray far from the planform of the Mott Taylor Aerocar—the only successful flying car to date. Smaller and ligher than the Aerocar, the major difference is that instead of trailering the wings and tail it's all-as-one, with the wings scissoring open for flight. (Don't ask me how they swing past the rudders )

Is it a staggerwing biplane? Or a tandem monoplane? Because it's rear-wheel drive, it rotates on the rear axle for liftoff.
