If you get a progressive kit - Devils own have the cheapest. then you will be able to set the spray progressively. I recommend 8-10psi start and full on max boost. If you add 10% methanol then I have read you will find economy gains (the VW boys love the water injection). This is caused by the water mixing with the hydroscopic methanol and becoming a cooling agent AND a fuel. Methanol also helps complete the diesel burn process.

Dude, you have to add in the cost of the methanol to any economy/mileage sums, sure your diesel ($1.50 per litre here) use may go down, but methanol is an expensive fuel to buy, around $6.00 per litre from the local supermarket. Distilled water costs around the same as diesel, and from what I've learned over the years isn't a fuel, but does allow tuning changes to be made that can result in an increase in efficiency. Can you explain how the injected water mist will increase mileage please?
