Turns out they'll fix it! That saves me the time of finding another civic and modding the snot out of it. Now I'll go ahead and manufacture version 2 of the grille block upper and lower. I'm brainstorming for ideas on materials as coro does look just like plastic cardboard...
maybe I can find a flexible strip of something to cap the edges? That'd look nicer.
