just fyi folks... this was more of a hypothetical situation (concept car kind of thing). i wasn't actually suggesting it could really work - though from some of your posts it sounds like it might actually be possible!
the wish, really, was to combine what i think are the killer looks of the yaris with the fuel economy of the geo xFI. sort of a concept car kind of thing. hehehehehe.
would be nice though eh? for tiny little cars, i really do think the Yaris is the best looking thing out there at the moment. slap some OEM (again, if they made them) wheel skirts on the thing... pull 50+ mpg's without any major mods or driving techniques, such as is the case with the xFI's... that would be super awesome.
at any rate, hopefully someone will start coming out with a new version of the 3cyl now that gas is through the roof. perhaps a Geo "2.0" can save GM from collapse!!! LOL
