There is some confusion about how two motors would operate at different wheels. Without some kind of feedback circuitry the motors would operate independently. Yes, given the same power two similar motors will have similar output. If placed under different loads motors in parallel could draw different amounts of current which affects the torque. I would look at the circuitry of the earthmovers with motors in each wheel.
