Speed or economy. Choose.
The vast majority of the time you will simply be motoring around town. 95% of the time you won't need speed, and the greater economy will be money in your pocket.
That other 5% of the time when you want higher top speed, you will be driving a Saturn. And then you will be back to enjoying your greater economy.
