I powered my side video mirrors and the monitors from a light in the storage bin in my dash. It powers up whenever the car is on. The monitors have a feature that keeps them on, and they power up automatically when power is on. My second set of monitors (I am using the third set) did not have this feature, and this was terribly annoying - especially with EOC and shutting the car off at stop lights.

All my monitors have their own inline fuses. Be careful with routing the wires.

I hope this helps - and maybe you can restate your question once you get to a computer?
