It is like comparing Apples to ***-holes, but well within the realm of possibility. Custom Rebuild vs. thrown-together 30-over SBC!
This longblock was specifically built as a low-friction* engine, for oil additives testing. It was compared to a standard economy rebuilder shortblock. He built it for testing the Oil Extreme concentrate. Perhaps this product is also in the unicorn category?
* The valve springs used were "just heavy enough" beehive units, that can handle the same RPM as a traditional double valvespring due to the advanced design.
