I guess both of those careers put you in physically dangerous positions. If someone is a jerk to me, I only cater to their egos if they outrank me, but I am not rude to anyone. I am most likely to ignore them, which people insist is rude, but if you are insulting me and cursing at me, I am not worried about pleasing you, unless you outrank me.
