Still way too heavy and expensive.
Chevy, give us a spark/sonic based version with a 700cc triple or maybe even twin. Give it a simple top gear direct drive like honda does with the new accord hybrid.
Such a vehicle should get 50+ mpg on the hiway and would be much cheaper.
