A friend of mine just picked this up. He's known the car for 20+ years and it was finally time for it to get a new home. It's right out of the '80s, Volvo widened rims, a fuel injected cylinder head swap on the 1.8L etc. He threw his shoulder out so I got to drive it around the other day. Don't know how F.E. friendly a 1965 Volvo 1.8L with dual SU carbs is, but man it was a blast to drive around in! I'll err on the side of saying a vintage Volvo is an eco ride, and if not then at least it looks cool!
