At a car show I saw a mid-engined Karmann-Ghia that had an air-shifter system that used SCUBA tanks. He said he could shift the car for a month on one refill.

I'll keep that in mind but I'm really leaning towards an on-board air compressor that can do it all (shocks, air bag, tires, etc).
I did find out that I have to take the weight off the air bag in order to inflate it because it doesn't have enough power to lift the trailer up when it's loaded.
I've calculated the size of the bottom gap cover to be 66" wide x 16" long. I'll probably fold some ears on it so it won't tin can while it's in use. I have some galvanized metal from some duct work that I'll try to use. I know I have a ton more work to reduce the amount of air the trailer is scooping from the truck.
