Totalled twice is not a problem IF every system was properly repaired. The nightmare scenario is when it's cobbled together with little regard or understanding of system functionality, or structural integrity, and now you get to diagnoise several multi-hour to multi-day nightmares.
Removed without property owner or vehicle owner permission equals.
Grand theft auto and you have no defense.
I read about a 62 Vette stolen from a used car lot, totally restored, sold at auction for $52k, before it's history was discovered and it was returned to the last legal owner. The used car lot owner who had it on his lot for $2500, 30 years earlier.
No need to slam me for my opinion, backed by personal experience but only in Va and NC but facing those FACTS, I would not even dream or removing it without written consent, preferrably from the previous owner, unless they are dead, without heirs.
