The Ram that get 26 mpg or the Ram with low Cda? The HFE Ram with the low Cda is a 3.6 gas motor that is rated 25MPG, the one that is rated 28MPG is the diesel. That V6 Gas Ram is much less expensive then both the diesel, and the 2.7 ecoboost Ford. So a 1 mpg penalty on the Ram isn't bad, but the ecoboost has more power. Here I wouldn't buy a diesel because like you say it costs too much more then unlead, but in California there is hardly a difference.

The full size Ford vans have the option of a small 5 cylinder diesel they need to put in this new F150 but it is a $6000 option on the van, yikes!
