Didn't follow links beyond the main story, but I have to wonder about the sanity of anyone who does a 4+ hour commute every day, for more than two years.
Just for comparison, my 2000 Insight is still a bit over 18K away from the 200K mark, and has averaged 71.2 mpg for the 130K miles since I bought it.
