It's been suggested before, but I still can't do that. Honda went to a distributorless ignition system in 2001. No cap, no rotor. Plugs were changed about 25k miles ago and looked normal when I had the head rebuilt this summer.

I wonder if I may be fouling them somehow though. Last night traffic sucked and I was in a hurry to get home for my daughter's band performance so I took an alternate route and used the throttle far more liberally than usual up a long, very steep hill. This morning, my instant MPG readings were noticeably higher across the board than they have been in recent memory. But, it's also quite a bit warmer, so I don't know if it's the weather or the Italian tuneup.

I suppose I should at least pull the plugs and take a look.
