There are two ways to go with the transmission.
Either customers provide their own, in which case, they'll have to order custom axles. (There are shops that do this, but each transmission will need different length axles, and the customer has to provide samples of the splines needed)
Or the manufacturer has a transmission ship with the car, in which case an adapter plate needs to be machined.

Harnesses will have to be custom-spliced. Can't comment on how hard that is... my experience with wiring harnesses is limited to repairing bad splices and hitting things until the warning lights go off.
