I'd had my Legacy GT for a few months before I realized I had made a mistake. Yes, I wanted power and versatility, but what I should have done was bought a motorcycle and an econobox.
I would have spent less money on the iron, gotten more performance and the utility would have been at a lot higher mpg. Come to hink of it, the performance would have been at a lot higher mpg, too.
But I loved the car and drove it for years.
