FWIW, our '14 Prius MPG goes UP at a rather consistent rate the cooler the daily temperatures get: NiMH batteries do NOT like our summer heat...even more than they don't like COLD. Although, in reality, it's more likely the lack of A/C-usage as the weather gets colder that's the real reason.
