Well in my case the answer IS yes. If you look on the Silver's build thread I replace both of my side mirrors with interior mirrors. I don't have the same concerns about towing that the others have. I like them much better than OEM for view angles around my blind spots. I have 4 mirrors firmly fixed and thats more than meet the requirements in my state. I carry a copy of it in my glove box in case I need to review it with someone
