Sentra @ 37 mpg X 1.4 surcharge for diesel = 49.8 MPG measured in cost per mile for fuel.
Either the Sentra at 37 MPG or a diesel car at 49.8 MPG cost the same per mile for fuel.
Last gas here was 1.809, diesel $2.799.
