I'm a bit surprised at schadenfreude about Russians struggling with low revenues. Remember what happened when FDR cut off the oil to Japan, threatening their economy? We shouldn't wish misfortune on anyone except our enemies, and the only enemies I have are the ruling class (particularly the American ruling class). Their sanctions on Russia are an act of war. I'm glad the Russians are willing to put up with Washington DC idiocy, for the moment anyway.
The real sad thing about this price drop is that idiots will buy SUVs, then be stuck (yet again) when the oil price goes up. But that's the free market for you. There is a cost to being an idiot.
People calling for taxes? Go ahead and pay extra for that fuel on your own. There is no need for you to be dragging the rest of us into it. We can do without your so-called economic "help".
