According to my fuel log, I have used 176.36 US gallons to travel 7,721 miles, and spent $388.47. I have saved 57.6 gallons over EPA and $153.79. The EPA says that I should be driving fifteen thousand miles a year--I have had my car and kept the log for fifteen months! Apparently, I drove 6,176.8 miles last year! I need to drive more?

At the same time, for better or worse, I own the Forester, too, and that is rated 21 MPG. I more than doubled that fuel economy, thanks to this site! It would have cost me $647.89 last year.

Of course, I failed to sell Bacon to pay for Chorizo, so other choices are costing me far more than I have saved...
