Jed, I do not know if the 2,000-HP Civic was the one that I found previously, especially since I could hardly find anything about it. I do remember it being white.

So, how well would it work if I put a Civic engine in a Corvette?

The only engine (that would have started in a Civic) I can think of to run a Vette would be Bisimoto's sohc wagon motor (about 700 whp) http://youtu.be/NAl180zN3Z0

If not, perhaps a K series motor, turboed to hell then you could break 1000hp, if money wasn't an option :
