And I've got the car back after spending more than a week at the garage of my nephew. It now has a new head gasket with a new timing belt and water pump. It was also leaking coolant out of the intake manifold so they got another one from the scrapper.
I really missed the old banger, but it's funny to see what my driving habits do with other cars. Drove the cars of my parents and sister the last two weeks.
My parents drive a 2000 Opel Astra 1.6i, I managed to do almost 4 km/L more than they do (keep in mind, I drive a lot of highway kilometers and my parents only go around town.
My sister drives an 1994 Suzuki Swift 1.0 with a 3-speed automatic. It revs like hell on the highway but got a decent 13 km/L out of it.
