Fuel app says 65.24MPG with smooth wheel covers.
I need to resize my pics for the upload limit.
That is an increase from 62.53 from when I fitted the undertray.
I got 60 with just the grille block and gap seal.
And 55 in standard form.
I plan on looking into using either a gurney flap or vortex generator where the side sliding door rail juts out along the side.
Has anyone thought of secondary glazing their wing mirrors so that the mirror is enclosed behind a clear plastic cover? The idea being that the wing mirror has an area where the mirror glass is housed that is a void. By making this be flush with the wing mirror housing it would surely generate less drag as the air disturbance would be less. The mirrors stick out quite a bit and cameras are a legal no-no here. I also think a small gurney flap on the foremost leading edge could help pull back the flow to horizontal that has been displaced instead of it mixing vertical as it hits the air.
Hmmmmm.
